We want the rough, uncut piece of flash-fiction that leaves a reader in a daze of confusion and emotion alike. We live for the poems that shatter all concepts of format and structure, allowing the creativity of the piece to run wild. Above all else, we want the work that is uniquely, positively you.

Our goal for each issue is to communicate the importance of multiple perspectives on a single element of current affairs by publishing a variety of pieces with different writing styles. For readers, we hope this allows for a deeper reflection on each of these points of inequality, in both the world and themselves. Although central themes connect each of our issues, we are more curious to see how each piece intricately weaves in a focus topic differently than the next. Additionally, each online issue will also provide links to different organizations that are dedicated to creating actual change for that topic. Ultimately, this combination emphasizes the development of the next generation of writers, along with putting emphasis on issues that actually matter.
