Join the staff of a national youth literary magazine. Join our flock. We are always eager to expand our team of emerging creatives. Currently, we are open to applications for two permanent staff positions:

Social Media Manager (1-2 roles): The Social Media Manager creates content for social media and manages AYLJ’s Instagram and X (Twitter) presences. Prior experience is preferred but not required. 0-2 hours of work per week.

Staff Reader (5+ roles): Staff Readers evaluate submissions for issues and provide feedback for authors. Prior experience in a reading role is not required; we’re open to first-time readers. 0-2 hours of work per week.

We are excited to welcome all those who are eager to gain experience working for a literary publication, and we are especially excited to welcome applications from young creatives and high school students.
