Take the plunge and let your words take flight. We are currently open for submissions for Issue 02. As a youth-run, youth-oriented publication, AYLJ is excited to welcome submissions from emerging writers and new creatives, and we especially welcome submissions from young writers. We want to be your first publication.

We accept submissions of fiction, creative nonfiction, and poetry.

Fiction must be under 2,000 words.
Creative Nonfiction must be under 2,000 words.
Poetry must be under 30 lines.

Simultaneous submissions and submissions of previously published work are accepted. Please submit your work as a PDF file, typeset in a legible font.
